I love the song, “Power of Two” by the Indigo Girls. As I was proofing these images it reminded me of it and made a perfect blog title for these two handsome fellows. A line within the song says… “multiply life by the power of two.” With these two energitic little souls, life is good and full of excitment. And, it all is multiplied by the power of two.

Catching up on my blogging… so many to post! It’s such an honor when another photographer chooses me to photograph their family! As photographers, we often get such wonderful pictures of our children but forget to schedule our own family sessions! Hopefully, this family cherishes these images like the many families they have photographed cherish theirs.

The mosquitoes were out again for us… it’s become a yearly tradition. But, I loved exploring this new location and the kids LOVED showing me one of their favorite spots.

I cannot get over how cute this little man is with his rain boots and adorable red hair! So sad they are moving but I wish them the best of luck to all that lies ahead.

These two were SO good with their newborn baby brother outside and did a fantastic job with holding him. That is hard work for little kids to hold a new baby in just the right way for pictures. I was impressed with their patience. Plus, look at these three… the are ADORABLE!

When I look at these first two images I think she is saying this: “I don’t know why you have not booked your session with Amanda yet. What are you waiting for?” “I mean, seriously… she rocks!” Ha… she made me laugh and had such spunk! They all did amazing and were so cute to capture.
Meet the N family. I wish I could describe in words what a joy I had working with them all. They have had to overcome some obstacles I cannot even imagine after their youngest son, Peter, was born early. His lungs need assistance which means packing up the car for a quick family photo session requires a lot more equipment than just a simple change of clothes. They are used to it and… Keep Reading

This group made me smile! I love their summer colors against the beautiful bright green and yellow grass. Ms. Avery loved having her picture taken and her images take my breath away.
