Oh, sweet baby Jack… I just cannot WAIT to meet you! Doesn’t my sister-in-law look amazing prego? She is so beautiful and I cannot wait to hold my new nephew. If these two are half as good of parents as they are aunt/uncle then Jack is the luckiest baby ever. Love you guys!
snow day.
On Sunday night, when I announced to Brandon that school was cancelled due to all the snow I couldn’t help but feel like a kid again. Instantly, I flashed back to those days of staring at the bottom of the TV screen waiting for those magic words to scroll across the screen: Fremont Public School – closed! When the announcement was made I would dance around the living room with my wet hair slicked back… Keep Reading

Okay… well just one of my most favorite things. This coffee mug makes me smile. I love how it feels so warm in my hands, the coffee tastes extra good while drinking from it and it’s the perfect size. Not too small, not too big. Today, it’s about the simplicity!
all is calm.
The last order has been placed and family sessions are completed for 2010! This time of year is when I get excited for the New Year and all that is to come. My creative juices start to flow and I start photographing just for me. double heart.
As a photographer, I have a “Favorites” folder. And, let me tell you… it takes a GREAT photo to make it into my own personal favorites. I realized that I am quite the perfectionist so I don’t just put any good or even great photo into my personal favorites. However, I usually know right when I click the shutter button if it’s a possibility. I new the second Q grabbed… Keep Reading

Dear Brandon, Today, you began your school career. Today, as you walked inside the school with your Kindergarten class a transformation took place inside of me. I felt my role as your mother shift a little. I am no longer the one whom you will share your entire day with. I no longer am the one person you will go to for help or who will make sure your needs… Keep Reading
