the view from here.
A double post! Last week I forgot to post my image for my Project 52. I took it but never posted. Week’s 7 theme was “open your heart.” When I saw Charlie playing with my super sweet neighbor girls I had to grab my camera. The sunset light was perfect… just like these kids. They are SO good to him. This week’s theme is “the view from here.” Again,… Keep Reading

Dear Brandon, I was talking about you today. People often ask me, “How are your boys?” My heart fills with joy and a big smile comes across my face with my reply, “They’re doing great!” And, you are. You are doing great. For me, I’ve seen a change come over you these last couple of months. You are growing up. The outside proof is clear. Just smile big and the evidence… Keep Reading
4/52 “soothing repetition”
Week: 4/52 Theme: “Soothing Repetition” Charlie’s deep and tiny snore while he sleeps is so soothing. Mommy LOVES nap time! The Spongebob stickers are a little gift we get almost every morning when I indulge on a $4 dollar carmel skinny latte. He wears them from morning until night and having them in this photo completes the image for me. It’s perfect!

When the announcement was made I would dance around the living room with my wet hair slicked back… Keep Reading

a few of my favorite things.
Okay… well just one of my most favorite things. This coffee mug makes me smile. I love how it feels so warm in my hands, the coffee tastes extra good while drinking from it and it’s the perfect size. Not too small, not too big. Today, it’s about the simplicity!
i know a rhino.
Charlie’s absolute most favorite book. I am so glad I captured this moment to remember this forever.
all is calm.
The last order has been placed and family sessions are completed for 2010! This time of year is when I get excited for the New Year and all that is to come. My creative juices start to flow and I start photographing just for me. Simple things, like a center piece filled with ornaments, are given a second glance and are seen as so much more than just a bowl… Keep Reading
