Week: 4/52 Theme: “Soothing Repetition” Charlie’s deep and tiny snore while he sleeps is so soothing. Mommy LOVES nap time! The Spongebob stickers are a little gift we get almost every morning when I indulge on a $4 dollar carmel skinny latte. He wears them from morning until night and having them in this photo completes the image for me. It’s perfect!

Oh, sweet baby Jack… I just cannot WAIT to meet you! Doesn’t my sister-in-law look amazing prego? She is so beautiful and I cannot wait to hold my new nephew. If these two are half as good of parents as they are aunt/uncle then Jack is the luckiest baby ever. Love you guys!
snow day.
On Sunday night, when I announced to Brandon that school was cancelled due to all the snow I couldn’t help but feel like a kid again. Instantly, I flashed back to those days of staring at the bottom of the TV screen waiting for those magic words to scroll across the screen: Fremont Public School – closed! When the announcement was made I would dance around the living room with my wet hair slicked back… Keep Reading

Now, I just need to make the changes on everything which surprisingly… takes quite… Keep Reading

a few of my favorite things.
Okay… well just one of my most favorite things. This coffee mug makes me smile. I love how it feels so warm in my hands, the coffee tastes extra good while drinking from it and it’s the perfect size. Not too small, not too big. Today, it’s about the simplicity!
i know a rhino.
Charlie’s absolute most favorite book. I am so glad I captured this moment to remember this forever.
all is calm.
The last order has been placed and family sessions are completed for 2010! This time of year is when I get excited for the New Year and all that is to come. My creative juices start to flow and I start photographing just for me. Simple things, like a center piece filled with ornaments, are given a second glance and are seen as so much more than just a bowl… Keep Reading
