I love the song, “Power of Two” by the Indigo Girls.  As I was proofing these images it reminded me of it and made a perfect blog title for these two handsome fellows.  A line within the song says… “multiply life by the power of two.” With these two energitic little souls, life is good and full of excitment. And, it all is multiplied by the power of two.

Catching up on my blogging… so many to post! It’s such an honor when another photographer chooses me to photograph their family!  As photographers, we often get such wonderful pictures of our children but forget to schedule our own family sessions! Hopefully, this family cherishes these images like the many families they have photographed cherish theirs.

I cannot express in words how much emotion I feel when looking at this image. I LOVE every part of it!!! As a photographer, as a woman, and as a human being who loves so deeply… I will never forget this moment.  Through our cheers of encouragment, I could feel his shyness of expressing his affection release. These two were SO good with their newborn baby brother outside and did a fantastic job with holding him. That is hard work for little kids to hold a new baby in just the right way for pictures. I was impressed with their patience. Plus, look at these three… the are ADORABLE!

They have had to overcome some obstacles I cannot even imagine after their youngest son, Peter, was born early.
