In the photography world, it appears that many of it’s members feel energized this time of year to step out of their comfort zones and tap into their creative selves. I am no exception! It’s a new year, a fresh start. So, we find ourselves looking for inspiration and ways to unleash our inner soul through our camera lenses. When I am in this frame of mind I see the world so differently. Things that were ordinary become spectacular. This year, I have decided to take on a new project. Project 52. Many other artists are doing this in some fashion. Weather it be a photo a day (I tried that once and failed miserably), a photo a week, or a photo a month. The method is not important. What is important about a project like this is getting out my camera and shooting just for me. No rules or worries about perfection. So, PROJECT 52 felt right. It’s easy, one photo per week that is based on a theme that I get from a group I joined. Themes always make assignments more fun! Now, let’s just hope I can keep up!
Theme: Something around the house
Great books are always laying around my house.
